Lewis is a full stack software engineer with seven years of experience developing virtual reality (VR) & augmented reality (AR) software solutions, which is pretty wild since he’s only 24.
He’s also fairly educated. Lewis studied artificial intelligence at Stanford University, continuing his education at 42: Silicon Valley (the ’42’ is French), studying machine intelligence, VR software development, and AI robotics.
This would lead to a run of awards for the recent grad. Lewis’ teams would win “Innovation” and “Founders” awards from Texas Christian University in 2018, followed by a “Best in Productivity” award at MIT’s Reality Virtually Hackathon in 2019 after developing VR & AR software that presented a 3D creation platform for virtual reality headsets.
He’s also developed geospatial data visualization for commercial real estate clients, trading platforms at the Chicago Board of Trade, and an immersive physics educational experience all before joining BUNDLAR. Now, Lewis is building the BUNDLAR Platform’s Web Content Management System (CMS) that will make creating AR Experiences easy, affordable, and repeatable.
“When I first met the BUNDLAR founders, I knew there was something magical here,” Lewis said. “Little did I know that I was joining one of the most ambitious augmented reality companies in the Midwest. Being part of a team with some of the brightest engineers in this industry and working to find solutions to challenging problems with this team truly excites me.”
At first, the BUNDLAR founders thought finding the right developer to build out their revolutionary AR CMS would be a long and arduous process. However, when they met Lewis, it was obvious the search was over.
“Lewis came highly recommended from a colleague in the AR/VR development industry, and has been a great fit with our team right from the start,” said Matt Wren, Founder and CTO. “His speed at developing technology and dedication to produce quality, user friendly solutions makes him an amazing asset to the team. His natural leadership capabilities also demonstrate that Lewis is going to make an excellent lead as our team grows in the coming years.”
Welcome to BUNDLAR, Lewis!
